What we change—and what we never change
1. The short version
We separate the source motorcycle from its original background and place it into a prepared scene. The finished image is a digital composite and its background may be synthetic or AI-generated. It is not presented as an untouched camera photograph.
- The opaque motorcycle area comes from your uploaded photo.
- We do not generate, redraw, repair, wash, polish or redesign the motorcycle.
- Background, crop, scale, placement, edge treatment, glass transparency, ground shadow and reflection may change.
- People are removed or obscured as a mandatory privacy safeguard. License-plate blur is optional and off by default.
2. Checks before payment
Your browser can check file type, size, dimensions, sharpness and basic image suitability before upload. After you permit upload, our own service performs limited technical and motorcycle-presence checks so unsuitable photos can be rejected before checkout.
These checks do not create a finished preview. We do not send a customer photo to a paid external image provider or begin personalized paid AI processing before Stripe confirms the one-time payment on our server.
3. Automated work after payment
After verified payment, automated vision may locate the motorcycle, people or faces, and—only if you selected it—license plates. A foreground extractor creates a transparency mask. Our compositor then places the extracted source motorcycle over the approved scene, calculates placement and applies bounded edge, glass, shadow and reflection treatment.
The service produces the order outputs described at checkout. Processing is automated; estimated times are not guaranteed deadlines.
4. The motorcycle-authenticity boundary
Opaque motorcycle pixels must be copied from the source. Scratches, dents, dirt, paint damage, missing parts, wheel and spoke condition and other visible evidence must remain. The service must not infer a cleaner, newer or undamaged motorcycle, even when a model could produce a more attractive image.
Pixels at extraction boundaries, through transparent windscreens, or in privacy-sensitive regions may change. If the motorcycle cannot be separated and composited without changing its visible condition, the photo fails safely instead of being beautified.
5. People and license plates
Visible people and faces are detected automatically and removed or obscured. This privacy edit is always on. If it cannot be completed without inventing motorcycle detail, or the system cannot confirm a safe result, the affected photo is stopped for the failure/refund path.
Plate blur is optional and off by default. When selected, the post-payment vision check locates plates and our service applies deterministic blur. A confident no-plate result needs no action. If a selected plate location is uncertain, we may ask you to mark one exact rectangle; we do not query registration databases or infer ownership.
6. Which AI providers may see a customer photo
Prepared background-library scenes may be created and reviewed using OpenAI or xAI without sending them customer photos. Under the current production posture, xAI is restricted to empty-scene design and must not receive customer images.
OpenAI may receive a customer photo only for the approved foreground-extraction workflow, and only after its provider terms, data-processing agreement, transfer safeguards, region, retention and deletion configuration have passed the production gate. If that gate is not satisfied, remote extraction stays disabled. The live processor register shows the deployed status. Ordinary customer photos are not used to train models, advertise the service or compare providers.
7. Failure, review and refund path
Technical failures may be retried without consuming a subjective refinement. Authenticity or privacy uncertainty is not silently overridden. A restricted operator can review the order and failure state, but MotoSalesPhoto does not promise bespoke manual retouching.
If we cannot deliver a conforming image, we may retry, accept a replacement source or refund the affected image. If no conforming output can be delivered for the order, the refund is full. Mandatory consumer remedies remain available.
8. Data, retention and your controls
Unpaid uploads are kept for no more than 24 hours. Private order sources and results are normally deleted seven days after delivery or sooner when you use delete-now, subject to a short active defect, refund or legal hold. An optional link-only album is a separate publication choice and may retain selected, re-encoded results for up to 12 months from publication or renewal.
You can download results, delete the private workspace, control or unpublish a shared album, request your data and exercise applicable GDPR rights. EXIF/GPS is removed from deliverables. The Privacy Notice is authoritative for personal-data handling, the Terms govern the purchase and remedies, and this disclosure explains the processing without replacing either document.
